Another great Thanksgiving! Snow was still on the ground Thanksgiving morning, but as the day went on melted away. It was my first time hosting it at my house, but I had A LOT of help. My husband even helped get the house ready and I didn’t even have to ask him to do that. The turkey recipe I used was very easy and tasted great(scroll to the bottom for it). 

We had tons of food, there is still some leftovers in the fridge. We had 2 pumpkin pies, 1 pumpkin roll, 2 pudding pies, a large apple pie from Costco and 1 lemon meringue for only 15 people, there was a lot leftover. The next day I almost ate a whole pumpkin pie, it was so good. I think it’s time to start a diet!
How we made the turkey:
18 lb turkey
oven 350 we put the turkey in at 9:30 and it was done at 1:30

salt and pepper all over and in the cavity
melted butter on top and we put some under the skin
in the cavity add 1 onion(cut in half), 1 lemon(cut in half), fresh thyme, garlic(cut in half)
you don’t even have to peel the onion or garlic

it is a very tasty recipe!
