How to Train Your Dragons Live Review

Mason and I saw Dreamworks How to Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular, and it was truly spectacular!! It was so amazing, Mason was just in awe the whole time. And I’m not going to lie, I really enjoyed it too :)

We got their plenty early to get seated and comfy. Even the cheapest seats had great views. And if your child gets scared easily I would suggested getting one of the seats higher up, so your not too close. I couldn’t believe when the fire came out, I could feel the heat on my face and it wasn’t all in my head ;) the lady seated next to us said she felt it too lol. The show isn’t just for kids, we saw quiet a few adults without children. And I did enjoy that if your kid happened to make some noise there wasn’t someone hushing you.

All the dragons looked so real, I had to remind Mason a few times that they were only machines especially when the Nightmare dragon came out. The actors were great and we loved their costumes. One thing I wasn’t expecting was the huge backdrop screen, it really made the show I think. There was one part where they had Hiccup going through a obstacle course type thing on the big screen and the actor was hanging by rope, I think that was Mason’s favorite part he was laughing so hard. It reminded me of a video game. It made me so happy to see him in love with the show.

It was a perfect amount of time with a 20 minute intermission, the show itself was around an hour long. Mason sat still the whole entire show and afterward asked if we could watch it again (& has been asking since lol). Defiantly a must see. We can’t wait to see the show again!!

Sorry for such horrible quality pictures, I couldn’t figure out the lighting with my camera :(
You can’t see it but there are people in chairs who move some of the lights way up there
He was sooo excited!!
I promise this isn’t a picture of a picture, it came from my camera. I think I need to re-read my manual book again lol

We were given tickets to see Dreamworks How to Train Your Dragon Live for review from Allied Marketing. However all opinions expressed here are my own. Thanks Allied!!
