I usually don’t do these things; resolutions! Because honestly I can’t keep them.

But this year there is one thing that I REALLY want to work on; living a healthier life. Not just for me but for my family. I can’t make my husband live a healthier life but I sure can try, I’m the one who does the grocery shopping and all the cooking hehe ;)

With youth now a days it’s all about sitting in front of an electronic, as rude as it may sound I don’t want my kid to become lazy and have weight problems. It’s about installing healthy living habits now when they’re young.

For me it’s not about looking the best, or being skinny; it’s about feeling good, having energy and preparing for my future when I’m old(I want to live as long as I possibly can). I won’t be going on any special diet{sure you might lose the weight but most people don’t stick with that diet and then gain it right back}, I will just be picking healthier choices; veggies, whole grains, lots of water, less sugar{& no not the fake sugars, they just make you crave more}, less red meats, less processed foods, less fast food. More organic & environmentally friendly products and food, would love to eliminate all the non organic stuff but just can’t financially. More exercise in my life!! Less stress in life, live a more organized and happier life.
