Easy Yogurt Face Mask
You work hard every day to keep the house together, all the kids where they need to be, and still manage to carry out a full time job. You barely make time for yourself and are constantly putting other people before you, sound familiar? Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and take a minute to take care of you!
If you constantly put yourself last, you will burn out before you know it. You’ll end up dog-tired, sick, and resentful. Make it a habit each day to do something small for yourself. Whether it’s a cup of coffee alone early in the morning or a quick mini spa treatment when the kids are napping, it will do wonders for your happiness and productiveness.
I know what you’re thinking. Spa treatments are expensive. Heck, even those face masks and lotions at the drugstore aren’t cheap. All you really need to give yourself a quality treatment is right in your kitchen. To add some extra bonus, you don’t have to worry about harmful chemicals or allergic reactions because all of the ingredients are so simple and natural!
What you need
1 tbsp plain yogurt
1 tbsp honey
3 tbsp orange juice
Mix together the ingredients in a small dish. Layer onto clean face and neck. Allow 20 minutes for the mask to soak in. Relax in the tub listen to some music, read a magazine, or just daydream. Rinse off the mask and check out your brightened and refreshed complexion! Keep leftover mixture covered in fridge for up to one week.
Yogurt is great for balancing skin’s PH and for getting rid of bacteria. Honey is also great for nixing germs and pulling impurities out of your pores. Orange juice is full of vitamin C and can help boost collagen production to help smooth out wrinkles!
