I dropped my baby off at kindergarten this morning. He will be at school a total of 7 hours a day, the hardest part is wondering if he needs any help with lunch or if he will get lost and get on the wrong bus. That’s why it’s very important to teach your child independence before they start school because you won’t be able to hold their hand every second. The day has passed by fairly quickly, and it’s almost time to meet him at the bus stop :) He did very well at drop off, went straight to playing didn’t care when we left. He just couldn’t wait to ride the bus and eat lunch at school!
I probably over packed his lunch, I just didn’t know how hungry he was going to be. We are allowing him to buy lunch once a week, but honestly our school districts lunches are pretty healthy. I can’t wait to look at all his first day paperwork and here about his day :)
